Running your practice
What makes Arcline different from a CRM?
A CRM tracks contacts and revenue. Arcline tracks the coaching itself: goals you can score, before- and after-meeting check-ins, trust and focus, and the arc of progress over time.
Do I need to know the research instruments to use it?
No. Arcline shows plain-English names first (Goal progress, Before-session check, Trust and focus). The formal research names are optional, secondary labels.
Who can change goal progress?
Only the coach can set goal progress. Clients can see the scoring rules and the current status. This keeps scoring honest.
What does Calendly sync do?
Calendly is the source of truth for when meetings are. Arcline imports each scheduled event, tags reschedules by who moved them (client vs. coach), and flips a no_show flag when you mark one in Calendly. None of it has to be manual.
How are missed sessions counted?
A session counts as missed if it's marked No-show or Cancelled within 24 hours. Reschedules made earlier than 24 hours don't count. The threshold is fixed so coaches can be compared fairly.
Can I import past clients?
Today you set up clients via the invite flow inside Arcline. CSV import is on the roadmap for Q3 — email hello@arcline.life if you have a list ready.
What clients see
Do my answers stay private?
Your check-ins and reviews are visible only to your coach. Aggregate stats (e.g., your goal progress) never leave your engagement. You can export everything you've submitted at any time.
Can I see what my coach scored?
Yes. Goal progress, the rubric for each level, and any shared notes are visible from your My Progress page.
When does the after-meeting review appear?
Only after both you and your coach mark the meeting complete. This decouples session fit from your before-meeting mood.
What if I change my mind about a check-in?
Optional check-ins (WHO-5, CAAS) can be paused or removed from your data sharing settings. Your existing answers stay on file unless you ask to delete them.
Data, access, and trust
How is client data protected?
Coaches see only the engagements they're assigned to — enforced at the database level by Postgres Row-Level Security, not just app-layer checks. Optional measurement and external sharing require explicit, revocable consent.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored in managed Postgres on AWS US-East-1, encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.2+. Data residency in EU is on the roadmap for Q4.
What happens if I delete my account?
Account deletion is a soft-delete with a 30-day grace window — log back in within 30 days to cancel the request. After that, a daily batch job hard-deletes all your personal data and engagement history. A short audit log is retained for fraud and legal-hold reasons.
Are you GDPR / CCPA compliant?
We honor the data subject rights both regulations require: access, rectification, erasure, and export. We don't sell or share data with advertisers — there are no advertisers.
Do you have a SOC 2 report?
Not yet. We're targeting Type 1 in late 2026, Type 2 the following year. Studio customers can request a security questionnaire and DPA today.
Pricing, trials, cancellation
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days with every Practice-plan feature, no credit card required.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings. You keep read-only access through the end of the billing cycle and a 30-day data-export window.
Do you have a team plan?
The Studio plan supports a single coach today, with multi-coach for practices coming next quarter. We'll grandfather Studio customers into the team plan.
Who pays — coach or client?
The coach. Clients are invited at no cost — Arcline never bills them.
Do you offer annual billing?
Annual billing with a 2-month discount is on our roadmap. Email hello@arcline.life to be notified when it ships.
